INDIA: Pakistan’s media personality Aamir Liaquat has alleged that Om Puri did not die a natural death; rather he was murdered by the Indian government.
Veteran actor Om Puri recently passed away at the age of 66 with his death being observed by both India and Pakistan. Initially, Mumbai police had registered it as a natural death however the postmortem report had revealed that he had died due to a severe head injury, prompting questions.
Aamir Liaquat went even further, saying that Om Puri had actually been murdered as he was found lying in the kitchen with the head injury. He said that the actor was brutally beaten to death and called Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval the culprits.
He also stated that Om Puri was murdered because of his support for Pakistani actors and his ‘fondness’ towards Islam. “Om Puri made a statement criticising the Indian Army which must have angered PM Narender Modi,” he said.
He added, “Om Puri had apologized for his statement on the media and accepted that he was guilty and ready to go to jail if the government decided to punish him. However, late Om Puri visited the family members of the late Indian Army officer and helped his family members,” referring to an alleged visit by Puri to the family of an officer killed in the Uri attack.
“Salman Khan and Fawad Khan will be the next target of Narender Modi and Ajit Doval,” Aamir Liaquat said.
